As a Budapest handyman I focus on the small, annoying jobs: furniture assembly, painting, shelf and TV mounting, tile and door repair, drywall, minor plumbing. These are the jobs most tradesmen don't have time for, or charge a fortune for. This is what I do, at a fair price and with an invoice.

I work in District III (Óbuda) and across the Buda side. We agree the price up front, I give an invoice for every job, and I speak English. Here is what I can help with.

What I help with

The small jobs no one else has time for: furniture, painting, repairs. Fair prices, with an invoice, in English.

Furniture assembly (incl. IKEA)

IKEA and any flat-pack furniture, wardrobe or kitchen unit. Wobbly, squeaky, broken? I fix it.

Shelves, rails, TV mounting

Floating shelves, curtain rails, TV, pictures, mirrors. Mounted solidly into concrete, drywall or tile.

Painting & refresh painting

Refresh painting in two coats, furniture moved, everything covered, mess-free. Per room or per m².

Drywall

Partitions, fitting, dropped ceilings, patching holes and damage.

Dripping taps & minor plumbing

Dripping tap, faucet swap, washing-machine and dishwasher hookup.

Tile repair & grouting

Replacing a cracked, popped or broken tile, even just one. Re-grouting.

Laminate flooring & panelling

Laying, patching and repairing laminate flooring and panelling. Precise and fast.

Door repair

Sticking, squeaky or dropped doors fixed: front, balcony and interior doors.

What I don't take on

Full renovations, tiling a whole room, electrical work, gas work. The small, annoying jobs are my thing, the ones no one else has time for.
